You can’t blame Gina Quaranto for beaming with a little pride as she shows off her new gallery, Place, on Main Street just north of Charleston Boulevard. After all, she helped strip out the carpet, repair and stain the concrete floor and paint the walls — not to mention corral the artists and organize October’s inaugural show. It took a lot of proverbial blood, sweat and tears.
